Birthday Lunch

     Hello all! I just recently had a birthday, and I turned 20! I guess I'm finally not a teenager anymore! My mom, brother, grandparents, and girlfriend all came up to Erie for lunch. We went to Firebirds, and I got a full rack of barbeque smoked ribs, with a side of fresh-cut fruit and steaming hot scallop potatoes. Also, I got the lemonade there, and in my opinion, it is to die for. When you order the lemonade, $1.25 goes towards children with cancer. It is called Alex's Lemonade. 

    Visiting with my family was tons of fun because I haven't seen all of them in so long and loved spending quality time with them! The next time I will see all of them will be Thanksgiving.

Starting a New Job

      As of next Tuesday, November 1st, I will have started a new job. I will start working at UPS as a Package Handler. I'm honestly kind of nervous, but I believe I should be just fine. I have had a couple of buddies recently work at UPS and they seemed to enjoy it, so hopefully the same happens for me.      I will be working roughly 4am-8am, but the hours vary. That means I will need to start going to sleep earlier. Wish me luck!

Thanksgiving

     Hello all, I had to drive all the way to Cleveland, Ohio for Thanksgiving and I made it there safely. The reason I had to travel to Ohio was to see my mother for Thanksgiving. Ever since she got engaged to some douchebag, I've had to go over there for all the "family" events. Luckily, it was a very lovely event. We got to watch a lot of football which was tons of fun. I forgot how good of a cook my mom was and the food she made was so amazing. I felt so sick I ate so much!

My First Post!

     Hello all! I'm Jaden Reagle and welcome to my blog! I'm very excited to post here about what I have been reading and my life experiences. Just recently, I started my class called Intro to the English Major. Dr. Reed is my professor and he really keeps the class entertaining. I certainly appreciate his dad jokes.      In the latest class, we read a lot of poetry. I'm not going to act like I am someone who I'm not, so I am just going, to be honest with you. I cannot understand poetry to save my life. Imagine you're 4 feet tall. Now try to jump and slam dunk a basketball, it seems impossible. That is exactly how I feel when it comes to understanding poetry. I really try my hardest and I believe if I keep trying I will eventually get a grasp on it.
