Microeconomics Test

Image
Well, today I took my microeconomics test. I got to say, all that studying I did really did pay off. Luckily, the test was multiple choice, so that made it a bit easier, but did make me second-guess some of my answers. The test also consisted of drawing graphs. I believe I did well on those as well! Afterward, I asked some of my classmates how they felt about the test, and they seemed very unsure about how they did, so that definitely boosted my confidence. I'm pretty sure I did better than I thought I would, but there were definitely some questions that were hard, but most of them I had confidence in. Overall, I really hope all that studying pays off! Fingers crossed!

Stressing Over Test

Image
Hello all, I have a big Microeconomics Exam on Monday, October 31st. What a way to celebrate Halloween... Anyways I have been stressing a lot about it. The main reason is the fact that the only grades in the class are the three exams that'll be given. So I really can't mess this up! I have been studying my little heart out, but I think after I'm done writing this, I am going to study again just so I can be sure.      I'm trying to vary my methods of studying to see which one helps me retain the most information. I've been using Quizlet, Youtube, and just writing and reading. All three seem to be all help. I really hope I do well! The above shows how stressed I feel.

Wrestling Season

Image
Hello all, wrestling season has just started for me, and it has been going well so far. About two weeks ago, I thought I had just stoved my pinky, but it has been hurting non-stop! It was super swollen and bruised. Some of the swellings have gone done and the bruising is completely gone. Who knew a pinky could hurt so bad! The only thing I'm worried about is the wrestling team has wrestle-offs this upcoming Friday to determine who will start. So I am really hoping that my pinky feels better by then!

Starting a New Job

Image
As of next Tuesday, November 1st, I will have started a new job. I will start working at UPS as a Package Handler. I'm honestly kind of nervous, but I believe I should be just fine. I have had a couple of buddies recently work at UPS and they seemed to enjoy it, so hopefully the same happens for me.      I will be working roughly 4am-8am, but the hours vary. That means I will need to start going to sleep earlier. Wish me luck!

Birthday Lunch

Image
Hello all! I just recently had a birthday, and I turned 20! I guess I'm finally not a teenager anymore! My mom, brother, grandparents, and girlfriend all came up to Erie for lunch. We went to Firebirds, and I got a full rack of barbeque smoked ribs, with a side of fresh-cut fruit and steaming hot scallop potatoes. Also, I got the lemonade there, and in my opinion, it is to die for. When you order the lemonade, $1.25 goes towards children with cancer. It is called Alex's Lemonade.      Visiting with my family was tons of fun because I haven't seen all of them in so long and loved spending quality time with them! The next time I will see all of them will be Thanksgiving. The above shows my grandparents, my brother, and me.

My First Post!

Hello all! I'm Jaden Reagle and welcome to my blog! I'm very excited to post here about what I have been reading and my life experiences. Just recently, I started my class called Intro to the English Major. Dr. Reed is my professor and he really keeps the class entertaining. I certainly appreciate his dad jokes.      In the latest class, we read a lot of poetry. I'm not going to act like I am someone who I'm not, so I am just going, to be honest with you. I cannot understand poetry to save my life. Imagine you're 4 feet tall. Now try to jump and slam dunk a basketball, it seems impossible. That is exactly how I feel when it comes to understanding poetry. I really try my hardest and I believe if I keep trying I will eventually get a grasp on it. If anyone has any tips on understanding poetry, I'd love for a response to read and hopefully, it'll help me! Below is a picture to help you understand how much I struggle with understanding poetry.
